ive had this sore throat 5 days now.. and ive been doing the sprays, gargling salt water and this is the best yet.. thank you!

dude.. i love you. i got about an hour sleep because of the pain im in.. i have strep throat.. ive tried the gargleing technique… tea + honey… non of that is effective as this is … thank you very much.

adding warmth to the neck area using a large towel works wonders. but u must do it the instant u feel and infection. even use a hot water bottle. and sleep with it on all night.
The reason this works wonders is because bacteria is very heat sensitive. that why it sits at the back of the throat and doesn’t spread from there. because its not to hot and not too cold,. its just right. so by adding heat you make it uncomfortable for the bugs. also White blood cells in ur saliva love warmth

Also…… white blood cells love love love warmth. white blood cells are more active in warm conditions. that why winter is the time when we mostly get sick.
Thats why sauners are so healing and popular.
An another thing to do with the salt. use baking soda. baking soda is very alkaline. and bad bacteria love acidity. good bacteria love an alkaline environment.
So using SALT, BAKING SODA, and WARMTH is a sure way to kill the bugs in the throat.

That makes sence. I have a question… I mean, if you have time. I’ve had this sore throat happening but also this sort of swelling or inflimation . I dont know if thats normal. I read somwhere that if your soft pallet is swollen than chances are your tonsiles are two. I don’t know if i have that for sure because I think it’s supposed to hurt more than this in that case, but I have like zero money for a doctor so I was hopping maybe you could offer advice.

im scared to swallow salt! it seems like it would make it hurt…
